The location was favorable and absolutely perfect, next to many attractions like Grandfather Mountain and mountains, with attentive staff. My room was extremely spacious and updated and included a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a microwave oven. the bathroom had a bathtub, which was great.

Particularly good and excellent location so close to Boone with much better rooms, Newland and restaurants and Blue Ridge Parkway, could not be better. Also, in mountains with attentive staff.

We found the hotel close to everything we needed, in the Grandfather Mountain area and to all the nearby mountains. the cleanliness was exceptional; the room was spotless and well-furnished. the staff were friendly and accommodating. the breakfast was excellent, as recommended by the staff.

This place is a fantastic small hotel for a one-night stay, with a twin room that left me very impressed, located close to all the attractions and facilities.

I loved the hotel. The pet-friendly room was a plus. The room was reasonably spacious. The staff was flexible. The location was perfect. It's close to what the Blowing Rock area, Boone, and Grandfather Mountain have to offer.

The food at the hotel was great, and I have nothing but fairly nice memories from this trip. I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, a microwave, a refrigerator, and tea/coffee making equipment. All the staff was exceptional and welcoming, fixing my issues. The location was unbeatable and excellent, close enough to access all locations, restaurants, and attractions like Grandfather Mountain, Beech Mountain. I was happy to find Carolina Barbeque, which was relatively near the hotel and served nice food.

Every staff member here was excellent and helpful, and the location in the Grandfather Mountain area was a great bonus. Rewritten: All the staff members were fantastic, offering assistance when needed, and the great location near Grandfather Mountain was a definite plus.

The rooms are great for anyone traveling with pets, plus the beds are super comfortable; the location is fantastic, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, overall a very enjoyable experience, we'll definitely return.

The Inn At Shady Lawn is a charming small hotel in a nice area near Boone. The rooms are much better than expected, and the location provides easy access to Banner Elk and many attractions. The staff is exceptional.
